A Foundry house brand concept

THE DIRECTION
Hollis Heating & Air is built around a belief that good service starts with doing right by people. The brand balances skilled, modern HVAC service with the honesty, reliability and personal attention associated with an earlier era of doing business.
Honest · Skilled · Approachable · Dependable · Straightforward
Inspired by American workwear, vintage service companies and blue-collar craftsmanship, the Hollis identity feels established without being "old". Rich colors and heritage typography create a brand that feels capable and familiar while remaining intentional and modern.
THE IDENTITY
A strong typographic word mark, a vintage fan illustration, and custom H mark create a flexible identity designed to work everywhere from a service truck to a uniform patch.
The color Palette
The palette is rooted in materials that wear in rather than wear out such as canvas, leather, steel and natural paper. These colors were chosen to feel dependable, familiar and built for use.
Ink Navy → sun-faded shirt / navy cotton canvas
Field Green → vintage steel toolbox or worn work jacket
Rust → boots or well-worn leather work gloves
Aged Paper → old service manual / folded invoice / drafting paper
Putty → raw canvas drop cloth or unbleached workwear
Near Black → cast-iron / blackened steel
More than a logo.
Hollis started with an idea: an honest, hardworking service company built on old-school values. From there, every choice began to tell the same story (the worn workwear, utilitarian colors, vintage typography, familiar materials, and cozy imagery)
The work of a Brand Foundation takes what a business believes, how it wants people to feel, and what makes it different and creates a visual and verbal world around it.
Hollis may be a concept, but the thinking behind it is very real.
