A Foundry House Brand Concept

THE DIRECTION
Make a Fuss is built around a belief that some things are worth making a fuss over.
A birthday. A shower. A tea party. A bachelorette weekend. Or simply an excuse to gather your favorite people around a beautifully set table.
The brand is playful, feminine and intentionally a little extra. Designed for a celebration studio that takes care of the details so clients can actually enjoy the occasion.
Playful · Thoughtful · Nostalgic · Feminine · Joyful
Inspired by gingham tablecloths, paper doilies, hand-tied bows and the wonderfully overdone details of celebrations past, Make a Fuss pairs nostalgia with a fresh, colorful point of view. Nothing takes itself too seriously. It feels like something worth celebrating.
THE IDENTITY
The Make a Fuss identity leans fully into its personality. A bold, feminine word mark anchors the brand while bows, gingham, scalloped edges and hand-drawn illustrations create a playful visual system around it.
Rather than designing an identity around one particular kind of event, these elements give Make a Fuss a recognizable world of its own that can show up at a child's birthday, bridal shower, tea party or any celebration that calls for a "little extra".
THE COLOR PALETTE
Make a Fuss's colors come from memories.
Powder Blue → tissue-paper decorations / a perfectly wrapped present
Soft Mint → vintage party china / pastel icing
Olive Green → gingham ribbon / garden-party linens
Butter Yellow → birthday candles / afternoon sunshine
Party Pink → piped frosting / crepe-paper streamers
Cherry Red → maraschino cherries / old-fashioned cake decorations
MORE THAN A PRETTY PARTY.
Make a Fuss started with an idea that a celebration doesn't have to be serious to be thoughtful.
A strong brand doesn't simply tell people what a business does. It gives them a sense of what it feels like to experience it. Make a Fuss may be a concept, but the thinking behind it is very real.
